Greenwing Delivers 10 “Chiang Rai Art Elephants” to Mae Fah Luang–Chiang Rai International Airport to Welcome Tourists and Highlight Chiang Rai’s Artistic Identity

On 13 November 2025, Ms. Piyakorn Jitsakula, Chief Executive Officer of Greenwing Co., Ltd., presided over the handover ceremony of 10 “Chiang Rai Art Elephants” to Mae Fah Luang–Chiang Rai International Airport. The elephants were received by Air Vice Marshal Sakon Udon, Director of Mae Fah Luang–Chiang Rai International Airport, at the airport’s passenger terminal. The sculptures will be displayed during the Winter Schedule period in the Domestic Arrival Hall of the terminal.

This initiative aligns with the airport’s policy to promote the works of Chiang Rai artists, showcasing the province’s unique identity and cultural strengths through the airport, which serves as the primary gateway for welcoming visitors and creating a lasting first impression. It also supports the government’s Soft Power policy in the field of arts by using the “elephant” as a medium to present and convey artistic works, reinforcing Chiang Rai’s image as a true “City of Art.”

Furthermore, this collaboration marks an important step in strengthening partnerships between public and private sectors within Chiang Rai, fostering the development of art and cultural tourism. It aims to advance sustainable growth under the concept of an “Airport of Art,” ensuring Chiang Rai becomes memorable and serves as a source of inspiration for people from around the world.
